  • Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. only requests personal information if you submit an inquiry about Social Security Representation or if your claim is referred to us by your disability benefits administrator.
  • When you register we ask for information such as your name, address, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, and basic health information.
  • Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and the page you request.
  • Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. initially uses the information to determine if you qualify for our Social Security representation services. We use information for the following general purposes: fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Children

  • Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. does not collect information from children. If a child needs our services, we require the information to be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. will not contact children.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • We provide and receive information from Social Security and other government agencies to support the development of your disability claim. This information is shared via authorization granted by a signed SSA-1696 Appointment of Representative and/or by the SSA-3288 Consent for Release of Information.
  • If your referral was through your disability benefits administrator, we share information about the development and resolution of your Social Security disability claim. We request authorization via an Authorization for Advantage 2000 to Release Information agreement and Authorization to Disclose Health Information agreement.
  • We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. under confidentiality agreements. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
  • We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Advantage 2000 Consultants, Inc. will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We screen new employees and they are required to undergo confidentiality training when hired and sign a confidentiality agreement. Confidentiality training is repeated periodically with all staff.
